Skinning Guide 1-450
1-75 Skinning Guide
Visit any Skinning Trainer located in World of Warcraft, and learn Skinning Apprentice.
Don't forget to buy the SKINNING KNIFE. I always forgot it. After you bought the knife, just follow the zones listed in the guide. This knife does NOT have to be equipped.
Beasts in the immediate starting area can't be skinned, because that area is for level 1-6 players and you won't have any profession until you reach level 5.
Alliance:
From 1 to 50 make a circle around that lake near Ironforge, when you reach 50 you can go and visit your Skinning trainer at Ironforge and learn Journeyman Skinning. After you learnt it, you can continue to level your Skinning until around 75, while you move toward Loch Modan. Keep in mind, it's not guaranteed that you will reach 75, but if you won't reach it you can just still go to Loch Modan, lower skill will be enough too.
(click on the picture to enlarge)
Horde:
From 1 to 75 you will start at Sen'Jin Village in Durotar and head toward Orgrimmar, while you skin every beast you see. When you reach Orgrimmar, visit your Skinning trainer and learn Journeyman Skinning. After that, fly to Crossroads which is located in The Barrens. Keep in mind, it's not guaranteed that you will reach 75, but if you won't reach it you can just still go to Orgrimmar, Skinning 50 will be enough too.

75-155/165 Skinning Guide
Alliance:
From 75 to 115 follow the path you see on the picture below, after you reach 115 you can head toward Wetlands. If you go there at lower Skinning level, there might be some beast which you won't be able to Skin.
(click on the picture to enlarge)
From 115 to around 140, follow that river you see on the picture and Skin the beasts you find. At 140 or a bit more, you will reach the city and you will have to fly to Ironforge in order to learn Expert Skinning. After you learnt the skill, fly back to Wetlands and continue to level up your Skinning until 155, so you will be able to skin the level 31 Raptors in Arathi, which is the next part in this Skinning Guide.
(click on the picture to enlarge)
Horde:
75-125 Skin the beasts you find while you head toward Camp Taurajo. Make sure that you have Skinning 125 when you reach the Camp, else Dranh at Camp Taurajo won't be able to teach Expert Skinning to you. From 125 to 165 head toward Thousand Needles and skin the beasts you see. To be honest, I feel sorry for Alliance players at this point of the Skinning guide. Horde players have such a good traveling roads, it's a lot easier to level Skinning as a Horde player than as an Alliance.

155/165-205 Skinning Guide
Alliance:
Follow that path on the map from 155-170, when you reach 170 you can head toward the orange 170-205 part. You will find higher level raptors there. However there are level 36-37 raptors at the south-east corner of the orange zone. Don't go there until you have Skinning 180. After you reached Skinning 205, you can go to Ironforge and learn Artisan Skinning. When you learnt the skill, go to Feralas.
(click on the picture to enlarge)
Horde:
From 165 to 205 just follow the path you see on the picture. Make sure that you have Skinning 205 before you leave Thousand Needles. After 205 go to Tanaris and fly to Feralas, at Feralas find Kulleg Stonehorn he will teach you Artisan Skinning.
(click on the picture to enlarge)
205-300 Skinning Guide
From 205 to 230 just skin mobs around Camp Mojache, this one is doable for both Horde and Alliance. When you reach 230, mount up and head towards the Yeti cave, it's where you can see the 230-260 part on the map. If the Yeti cave is farmed by someone you can head to South and kill Hippogryphs. After you reached 260, follow the path to the 260-280 part. There is another Yeti cave there, but those Yetis are higher levels. When you killed all of them, you can find a lot of beasts in front of the cave. At Skinning 280 you can fly to Un'goro Crater, however you can stay here too, and skill up your skinning by killing the beast in front of the cave.

300-375 Skinning Guide
From here you will gain skills much less frequently, as you will see on the picture below.
(click on the picture to enlarge)
Go to Thrallmar and find Moorutu if you are Horde player, he will teach you Master Skinning. For Alliance go to Honor Holde and find Jelena Nightsky. The paths on the map are pretty straightforward. Just follow those paths and when you reach 330, go to Nagrand.
(click on the picture to enlarge)
Kill Talbuks and Clefthoofs. You can stop at 350 and go to Northreand, if you want to.

360-450 Skinning Guide
Go to Northrend and learn Skinning Grand Master.
Kill Rhinos.
Kill Gorillas, this place is also one of the best place to farm Borean Leather.

Mining Guide 1-450
I found this on the website wowprofessions.com ..Great website..
Mining Guide 1-450
WoW Mining Leveling Guide 1 - 450
First, visit any trainer in the main cities of old Azeroth - just ask a guard, and learn Apprentice Mining.
I recommend you to get the following enchant: [Formula: Enchant Gloves - Advanced Mining]. When you reach the thorium part, it will save you a lot of time, because you will be able to mine the Rich Thorium Veins a lot sooner.
When you have around 30 copper Ore, go and Smelt them and repeate the cycle, go mine ores then smelt them. Save the Copper Bars, you will need them.
Durotar - [Copper Ore]
Dun Morogh - [Copper Ore]
Alternative Map:
Basically just every starter zone. I won't include mining ways for these, because you can find copper everywhere you go.
Elwynn Forest
Darkshore
Azuremyst Isle
Tirisfal Glades
Mulgore
Eversong Woods
65-125
Learn Mining Journeyman.
[Tin Ore], [Silver Ore], [Copper Ore]
This is a really bad part, in my opinion Tin is the hardest to find, there is not a single zone, where you can only find Tin, there is always Copper or Iron aswell. I usually mine Tin until 75, then I smelt all of my Ores. After that, I turn my Copper and Tin Bars into Bronze Bars. This should take you around 90-95 Mining skill.
At 75 you can learn how to smelt Silver Ore. This will help you get your skill to 125. Silver Ore and bars sell for rougly the same, buy the ore and sell the bars at the auction house. However on some high populated servers, Ores are extremely expensive, then you should just mine Tin and Smelt Bronze until 125. If you find any Silver Vein, smelt the ores before you reach 115 in Mining, because it's better to smelt them while they are still yellow or orange and Smelt Silver turns green at 122.
Thousand Needles
Redridge Mountains
125-175
Learn Mining Expert.
[Iron Ore], [Tin Ore], [Gold Ore]
At 155 you can learn how to smelt Gold Ore. Buy 30 Gold Ore and smelt them, that should get you around 175. Same as with Silver Ores, buy them if they are not expensive, smelt them and sell the bars at the Auction House.
Arathi Higland
Thousand Needles
175-245
[Mithril Ore], [Truesilver Ore]
At 230 you can learn how to smelt Truesilver Ore, this should help you to level up to 245. When you reach 225, don't forget to visit your Mining trainer.
The Hinterlands
Tanaris
245-300
[Thorium Ore]
Get 5 skill by mining Small Thorium Veins, then visit your trainer and learn how to smelt Thorium Bar. You should smelt ores until 270 (you can mine nodes until 270, but it will be a lot slower) , so you will need only 5 points until you can mine Rich Thorium Veins (you can mine them right away, if you have this enchant: [Formula: Enchant Gloves - Advanced Mining]).
I only recommend Winterspring for players level 65 or higher. You can go there at lower levels too, but there is like 2 place where you will have hard time to get in and mine those Rich Thorium Veins. Eastern Plagueland is better if you are lower than level 65.
Winterspring
Eastern Plaguelands
300-325
Go to Outland and learn Mining Master.
Hellfire Peninsula - [Fel Iron Ore]
325-350
Nagrand - [Adamantite Ore]
350-400
Go to Northrend and learn Mining Grand Master.
Borean Tundra - [Cobalt Ore]
400-450
Sholazar Basin - [Saronite Ore]

Tailoring specializations
Tailors of lvl 60 or higher with a skill of 350 or greater now can choose a Tailoring Specialization. Each of these three specializations allow the tailor access to a number of self only recipes and will allow the tailor to make twice as much of one kind of new cloth as a tailor without this Specialization. Each specialization also provides recipes specific bind-on-pickup cloth gear.
Mooncloth tailoring (Healing): Allows the tailor access to learn the patterns for the Bind on Pickup Primal Mooncloth Set, and to create an additional primal mooncloth at a moonwell.
Shadoweave tailoring (Shadow / Frost): Allows the tailor to learn the patterns for the Bind on Pickup Shadow's Embrace set, and to create an additional shadowcloth at the Altar of Shadows.
Spellfire tailoring (Fire / Arcane): Allows the tailor to learn the patterns for the Bind on Pickup Wrath of Spellfire set, and to create an additional spellcloth in Netherstorm.

You should make around 20 of these, it depends on your luck. The recipe goes yellow at 430 and green at 440, but you should make these because you will sell them at AH anyway, so you will get most of your gold back. Don't flood the AH, only put in a few bags at once. It might take weeks or even months before you sell all of them. Try to make Bags for your friends, tell them to bring the materials for it.
Per Frostweave Bag:60 x Frostweave Cloth12 x Infinite Dust2 x Eternium Thread
440 - 450When you reach 440 you will be able to make new epic recipes, try to find players who need those epic items and craft the items for them if they bring the materials. You can also continue to make [Frostweave Bags].

Just buy them, when you get that part of the Jewelcrafting guide.
5 Adamantite Bar
5 Mercirual Adamantite
Buy 60 from any of the following gems: [Bloodstone], [Chalcedony], [Dark Jade], [Huge Citrine], [Shadow Crystal], [Sun Crystal]. Make sure to buy at least 5 [Bloodstone], because you will need it when you reach 395.

225-24560 x [Thorium Setting] - 60 Thorium Bar
Make 60 of these, and if you reach skill 245 you don't need to make more, else you might need more of these later on.
245-26015 x [Ruby Pendant of Fire] - 15 Star Ruby, 15 Thorium Setting
260-28020 x [Simple Opal Ring] - 20 Large Opal, 20 Thorium Setting

or
10 x [Sapphire Pendant of Winter Night] - 10 Blue Sapphire, 10 Essence of Undeath, 10 Thorium Setting
290-30010 x [Emerald Lion Ring] - 20 Huge Emerald, 10 Thorium Setting
300 - 350
Go to Outland and learn Jewelcrafting Master.
Now from this part of this Jewelcrafting guide, you will use recipes that are already yellow to you and since whole WoW is pretty random, you might just need 5 gems to reach your desired skill or maybe 10.
300-320
A nice alternative to 300-315 is this pattern:
15 x [Prismatic Black Diamond] - 15 Black Diamond
When you learn these recipes, they are already yellow. I suggest you to cut 30 from any of the following gems, then you should reach 320.
[Teardrop Blood Garnet][Brilliant Golden Draenite][Solid Azure Moonstone][Radiant Deep Peridot][Inscribed Flame Spessarite][Glowing Shadow Draenite]
320-325
Make 5-7 from any of the following gems.
[Bold Blood Garnet][Bright Blood Garnet][Gleaming Golden Draenite][Jagged Deep Peridot][Luminous Flame Spessarite][Royal Shadow Draenite][Sparkling Azure Moonstone]
325-335
Make around 15 from any of the following gems.
[Enduring Deep Peridot][Glinting Flame Spessarite][Runed Blood Garnet][Shifting Shadow Draenite][Thick Golden Draenite][Purified Jaggal Pearl] - This one turns green at 332.
335-340
Make 5-7 from any of the following gems.
[Dazzling Deep Peridot][Delicate Blood Garnet][Potent Flame Spessarite]
You can go to Hellfire Peninsual and find Kalaen if you are Horde, Tatiana if you are Alliance. These NPCs sell the following recipes.
[Rigid Golden Draenite][Sovereign Shadow Draenite][Smooth Golden Draenite]
340 - 350
You can continue to make the gems above also, I just don't really like to use green recipes for any profession.
5-7 x [Heavy Adamantite Ring] - 1 Adamantite Bar, 1 Mercirual Adamantite
350 - 450
Go to Northrend and learn Jewelcrafting Grand Master.
350 - 395Buy around 55 from any of the following gems, after 375 the recipes will be yellow so you might need less or more.
[Bloodstone][Chalcedony][Dark Jade][Huge Citrine][Shadow Crystal][Sun Crystal]
Cut any random gem you want. Seriously there are like 50 new green gem recipes, I won't list all of them. Go to your trainer, learn one and make that recipe around 55 times.
395 - 400
Make 5 from any of the following items:
5 x [Bloodstone Band] - 5 Bloodstone, 10 Cristallyzed Earth5 x [Crystal Chalcedony Amulet] - 5 Chalcedony, 10 Cristallyzed Earth5 x [Crystal Citrine Necklace] - 5 Huge Citrine, 10 Cristallyzed Earth5 x [Sun Rock Ring] - 5 Sun Crystal, 10 Crystallized Earth
400 - 42023 x [Stoneguard Band] - 46 Eternal Earth
or
23 x [Shadowmight Ring] - 23 Eternal Earth, 23 Eternal Shadow
420 - 425
You better make this yellow recipe until it turns green, because after this there will be only meta gems, and they are a lot more expensive. Forest Emerald is usually the cheapest gem.
7 x [Dazzling Forest Emerald] - 7 Forest Emerald
425 - 440
Buy 15 [Skyflare Diamond] or [Earthsiege Diamond]
There are plenty of meta gem recipes, choose one of them and make it 15 times. You can learn some recipes from your trainer, and some of them are sold by Tiffany Cartier in Dalaran, there is also a lot of them dropped by bosses and mobs around Northrend.
440 - 450There is no point in leveling further than 440. If you want to level further, just continue to make meta gems.
